Cathy Wade Shepard has been licensed since 1980 and obtained her Broker's license in 1981. She was associated with Pacific Union from June 1996 until February of 2004 when she joined the new Wine Country office of Sotheby's International Realty.

She previously owned and operated CWS Real Estate Investments in Sonoma for 8 years, serving clients in Contra Costa, Sonoma, Napa and Solano counties. She is a member of California Association of Realtors where she serves as a Director, the National Association of Realtors and the Women's Council of Realtors. She holds the Certified International Property Specialist, Certified Residential Brokerage Manager and Certified Residential Specialist designations.

A resident of Sonoma since 1974 and active in community organizations, Cathy served 5 years on the Sonoma Valley Citizens' Advisory Commission which advises the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors and the Sonoma City Council on planning issues which affect the Sonoma Valley.

She was founding president of the Friends of the Sonoma Valley Library. A past president of the Sonoma Valley High School Booster Club and served on the Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries of the Redwood Empire. Cathy is a reader at St. Leo's Catholic Church. She is also a member of the Park Point Athletic Club. She is the mother of one adult daughter, Erin, and the proud grandmother of Elliott and Phoebe.
